Well, to update the Haiti preparations, I should note that Garn and I got a bunch of shots on Dec 30. Typhoid and Hep A for me, Typhoid, Hep A, Hep B and flu for Garn, and we updated our MMR at the same time. Ouch! I was a bit concerned about Garn putting 7 different diseases in his body at the same time, but they assure us it's okay. Well, watch out for that Typhoid, it's a doozy! We both still have sore arms, 4 days later. Oh well, it's worth it!
