Speaking

Well, those that know me will probably be surprised to know I'm preparing for my 3rd speaking engagement next week... Who'd have thought I'd be doing that?? I've found the way to like (or almost like) public speaking - find something you're very passionate about that needs to be said! Anyways, if anyone local is reading this, I'd like to invite you to our church's ladies group, Coffee Break next week Tuesday. It's a spring market, with close to 30 booths from local people who make things and sell things. I've never been, but it sounds really amazing! Then they've given me a 1/2 hr to talk about Haiti.

Okay, I just got completely derailed. I went to check what time it was, knowing there was a write-up about it in the Barrhead Leader this week, and was completely shocked when I found it. A large headline blares out "Haitian Orphans' Rescuer to Speak at Spring Market". I was surprised to realize that was ME! So, yeah. No pressure or anything. Orphan rescuer, LOL!!! I hope people aren't too disappointed. Anyways, back to my point. Um, it starts at 10am. Oh dear. I better go finish writing what I'm going to say...
