Finally Home!

Well, we finally made our way back home. We arrived this afternoon at about 3pm. Have already checked in at work for both of us - we both start back tomorrow. I wish for more time to sleep, but I guess eventually we have to get back to work!! :) Thank you all so much again for following along and sending us encouragement - it was awesome to hear from you. I can't express what a comment or email from home is like when you're so far away. Now it's time for us to get back to "normal" life - redefining what normal means to us. It'll continue to be a process for us, dealing with some of the things we saw and did, figuring out where to go from here. However, we are definately looking forward to sharing more stories and pictures with everyone! What's next for us? Well, we have already in process a trip to Zimbabwe, probably this fall. We've been planning to go work at a mission hospital there. This has been in the works since last September. We're pretty excited about this trip, but so incredibly grateful that we still had an opportunity to get back into Haiti and help when they needed it so much. The need is still so great, and it will likely take at least 10 years to rebuild, and of course, the medical needs there will be extreme for quite a long time yet. Obviously, we wish we were still able to be there working, but that was not God's plan for us. Anyways, I just wanted to let you all know we're finally home. See you soon!

Good to be in your own bed again I'm sure. Praying that you have sound sleep, sweeter dreams. We are also grateful for the support you come home to. Lots more opportunities to share stories with others. We miss you already.
