Aftershock!!

Today Michelle and I were helping get the 83 kids ready to go home to the States, there were also passport photos being taken for the Canadian kids - the Canadian government has not given the official okay yet, so please put pressure on all your politicians to get these kids out. At the same time we also have the regular duties of watching after the kids and taking them up to the balcony. Then suddenly at 11:45am an aftershock of 4.9 struck.
In an instant the very house that we're in and also the cribs that the kids are in become a type of trap. The nannies are afraid when there's aftershocks, all the kids pick up on that as well. Suddenly a roomful of kids can rapidly become a nightmare. All the kids are screaming!! But life must go on.
83 are leaving on a 5:00 flight to Miami. There are families from all over the states scrambling to get to Miami as I write this. 5 families are on a chartered plane from Michigan, and I'm sure there are more stories similar to that. We are all very grateful for the response we've seen from around the world. Donations are coming in, yesterday more cooking propane arrived, so today we are getting a warm lunch! Thankyou, so much. Granola bars and energy bars will rapidly get old, but it will sustain life.
We had a visit from the Oregonian today, and Michelle and I got to talk with them. Yesterday, some body from GLA conducted an interview with the BBC. We are getting news coverage from everywhere, and it seems so surreal.
Just in: there is a little girl seizing as I write this, and she HAS to be on today's plane!!! Please pray that she gets on , and that she is all right.
