Another quick note - it's been a really long day. The earthquake this morning was an actual new earthquake, not an aftershock. It was located 35 miles away, quite a bit farther than the original, yet still quite close! The original was only about 5 miles from here. I am very excited to tell you we successfully evacuated 37 kids today!!! It was incredible and amazing and many other things, so difficult to begin to explain... We spent most of the day in a tent from the Dutch marines and search and rescue at the airport, and the activity there is incredible! Planes in and out, helicopters in and out, and camps everywhere. There are actually 30 countries here doing relief!!!!
So, as if that wasn't crazy enough, tomorrow we will be evacuating 80 kids!!!!!!!!!! Cannot imagine what that will be like! Keep praying as prayers are being answered and things are still crazy. There are a few babies up in NICU that are very sick, and the operation tomorrow needs much prayer. So much more to tell, but desperately need to go to bed.... Hopefully we can blog more tomorrow!
PS all these kids are from GLA alone, many more orphans were evacuated from other orphanages.

I hope that you guys can get the rest that you need at the same time...although I do understand how God grants extra stregth and grace. Things sound increasingly more horrific each time I learn a bit more. I know that God will care for you and all the Haitians that will be blessed by your step of obedience and faith...ordained by God...you're in great Hands! I feel so little to help...but my prayers are with you. Cal B
So happy that the kids are going home. Looks like the "cavalry" is being kept very busy. If you get a chance, hug Dixie for us. We're bring you all before God constantly. Love you so much!
