Ah, the weekend

Morning again! I didn't post pics last night cuz it was movie night. :) Had a fairly good day yesterday, Garn got some work done out at the new site, spraying walls with this stuff that protects for mould, and I of course was with my babies. I got to go out to the new site to bring lunch to the guys, so it was great to finally see it! It's way up on a mountain, with an incredible view over Port-au-Prince, lots of trees, it's a beautiful site. My little guy seems to be sitting better and was kicking a bit when I put him on his tummy. I hope crawling isn't too far off for him. Oh, I made a mistake in counting months, he's 7 1/2 months, not 8 1/2. So, Nolan and Dawn, he's actually I think 3 weeks younger than Declan. Amazing, eh? He's about half the size. He has so much personality, though, with smiles and giggles for everyone. No fear in this kid, he pet one of the dogs last night, and most of the bigger kids are totally scared of them. My kids range from 7 months to 15 1/2 months, and only 2 of them can walk, 2 can't even sit unattended. It's amazing to watch them respond to you and the other kids, though.

Today is an outing day, which means we'll be heading up to an old baptist mission, where there's a market. Shopping!! Can't wait to find some Haitian stuff to take home! After that, we'll be eating at a restaurant, then heading up to a lookout point. The scenery is so incredibly beautiful, so we're really looking forward to that. Here's a few more pictures!

Hi Garner and Michelle. I tried posting a note the other day and it didn't come on somehow ...right around the time of the one that just says boo. If that was suppossed to be mine , I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPENED!!! It sounds and looks like your both having an incredible experience. I'm surprized how many children there are in this orphanage alone. And that is only one of GOD only knows how many in the world. How tragic. Garner when you go shopping next time you should buy a paintball gun and a big sack full of paint balls. When you have to spread it all out on the counter for these 3 guys to count them all , it would take them hours (less neck strain for you painting ceilings~~~WINK , WINK ) Also you can just shoot at the ceiling and not have it all drip on you. Then Michelle will wonder how you manage to stay so clean when she always got so ~~~~~OH NEVER MIND !!!! How many hours difference from BC are you there? Are you switching to daylight saving too tomorrow ? Then the roosters can get you up earlier yet. Michelle ~~ be sure to remind Garn to open the door before he chases them hey!!! GOD BLESS >>>>LOVE YOU BOTH . Dad & Mom H

You guys are taking some fabulous pictures! Glad to hear that you are both doing well, we are thinking about you both. The babies are beautiful, so glad that this organization exists, and that you two are there making a difference for these kids.
