I almost forgot- the reason that they have so many generators and batteries is because they only get EDH(Electricite De Haiti) for about 4 hours a day average . Some days not at all. Tonight the toddler house had power without the generators running for the first time in 3 weeks!
Can you imagine the diesel fuel bill? Those things run almost 24/7 it seems.
