Note from Mich

Quick note from me - life is good, despite crazy rainstorms! The good news is that it's keeping the temperatures cooler than we expected, too, more like low-mid 20's if I were to guess. And I'm sure many are wondering... the food is REALLY good!! So don't worry about us coming back scrawny, it's not going to happen. So my main baby, the one who needs the extra help, is 8 1/2 mos old, and wearing 0-3 month clothes. He hasn't cut any teeth yet, either. To look at him, you'd be sure he was about 2 months old. However, he is sooo sweet, and I love trying to coax smiles out of him. I hope he starts remembering me already today. First days with the kids are a bit tough as they are quite shy with someone they don't know (especially with Garn as they are not used to men!)
So apparently the rainy season has started early - normally it doesn't start for a couple more weeks. As long as we're getting these crazy dumps of rain in the evenings, we'll only be writing in the morning. The deluge cuts off the internet signal, which in not really that surprising. We are able to have time to check email, facebook, and this site, so don't worry about where to send a message if you're sending one. We're keeping tabs on all 3. Well, just about time to find my little baby! Talk to you all later.

Wow, sounds like a wet time so far!! I would love to be there with those babies! Can't say that I envy the painting Garner is doing though. So glad you are there safe and sound and making an impact! We're thinking about you lots!
