Morning!

Well, it's 7:30 am on our first real day. We had a few adventures yesterday, including our first tropical rainstorm - we have never seen anything like it in north america! You get so wet instantly, in fact, Garn ran in out of the rain, and his eyes and glasses we so full of rain he ran straight into a glass door! Blew it right out of its track, and got a fat lip and goose egg on his head. Thankfully the door was okay, and they put it back no problem! I had a cockroach in my suitcase last night. Yes, the things you never think about before leaving! I have 9 babies to take care of, with one of them being my main focus. He's not gaining weight, and basically would be classified as failure to thrive. They're hoping that lots of 1 on 1 time will perk him up. Garn is off to the new site today, sounds like he'll be painting ceilings. I knew I'd eventually get revenge for me having to paint them all at home!! Heh, heh. :P Well, the one good thing about a huge rainstorm is it at least kept the roosters quiet for PART of the night! However, we went to bed early, and are feeling pretty good this morning. Well, off to start the day!
