Progress

Sorry, the internet has been really slow today. Well, yesterday was weight day for the babies, and I was very eager to know how my little failure to thrive baby did this past week. He gained weight!! He actually gained a half a pound, bringing him up to just shy of 13 pounds. 13 pounds. He's eight months in a couple of days. I'm overjoyed over his weight gain, but even though I see him every day, I still was shocked to put a number to his size. 13 pounds, not even. Anyways, at least we're heading in the right direction. I won't post any pictures today cuz the internet is so slow, but I gave him a bath today and got the best picture!! Anyways, other than that, a usual day today. Hot, though. Probably the hottest day so far, but I don't know the temperature. Garn was painting today and is very sore. I'm not quite able to feel sorry for him yet after painting almost our entire house by myself (sorry sweetheart) but I do hope he feels better tomorrow. We saw the hugest spider yesterday and had to call in the gate keeper man to come kill it for us. It was about 4 inches across. Totally yucky. Apparently there are tarantulas, too, but not usually in this region. Kinda makes you appreciate the cold winters that keep the big bugs away, eh?
