Saturday

Today I was to work earlier than most to wrap up a few things for the weekend. First I finished tiling a shower I had been repairing. The old fixture broke, and since everything around here is concrete, had to break a hole in the wall, hook up new shower fixture, refill the hole with "sea-ment", and then tilethe gap.
After our outings as Michelle described, John and I went back to the toddler house to switch out a bank of batteries. 24 batteries all hooked up together. All 6 volt x 4 per set, making 24 volts( I'm really not sure yet how 24- 6volt batteries makes 24 volts, but it does. all the old ones were loaded up in the back of the Toyota and hauled back here so that we can service them, repair, maintain, or discard as needed. The load was so heavy that the tires were squeeling down the steep hills with the brakes on!!!

You two (along with others) are being the hands and feet of Jesus to those children in Haiti. And it is so rewarding, isn't it. You do such a good job keeping everyone informed on this blog. I hope it inspires others to try something similar. God bless. Erwin
